The merger is scheduled for completion on March 2, 2026. At that time, your accounts will officially transfer to Keesler Federal.
Our team at Keesler Federal and Jefferson Financial Federal have worked for more than a year to ensure your transition to Keesler Federal goes smoothly. On this site, you should be able to find answers to most questions you may have. We are proud to service your mortgage loan and committed to providing you with great member service.
As a reminder, your mortgage loan is being changed from Jefferson Financial Federal Credit Union to Keesler Federal Credit Union effective February 1, 2026. Additionally, the transfer of the lien associated with your loan is currently reflected, or in the future may be reflected, in the public land records of the loan county recording office where your property is located.
Please be assured that the transfer of the servicing of your mortgage loan does not affect any term or condition of the mortgage agreement, other than the terms directly related to the servicing of your loan.
Mortgage FAQs
Why can’t I pay my mortgage at my old Jefferson Financial branch?
Jefferson Financial’s branches are transitioning to Keesler Federal’s system, which is scheduled to be complete by March 2, 2026.
Before March 2, members will need to make their mortgage payment through Keesler Federal's alternative methods.
How can I make my mortgage payment during this transition period?
Online Payment: You can log into your Keesler Federal online account at www.kfcu.org, select mortgage, and make your payment directly through Keesler Federal’s self-service mortgage platform.
- JFFCU Members first will need to create a new online account at Keesler Federal for their mortgage payments only. Thus, during the transition period, the member may potentially have two online account - one with JFFCU and one with Keesler Federal.
- Note: A member should use the same login credentials when creating their Keesler Federal online account as they have for their JFFCU online account.
Mail: You may continue to send your payments by mail to the Keesler Federal mortgage payment address.

Phone: You can call Keesler Federal’s mortgage servicing member contact center at 833-385-5328 or 228-385-5599 to make a Keesler Federal payment by phone.
ACH (automated payments): Use the self-service mortgage platform to make recurring payments. Or, fill out and provide the payment form to Keesler Federal Mortgage Servicing.
If using the payment form, put in the source of the payment: the bank routing number, and the source account from which you will pay your mortgage.
The servicing platform will withdraw the payment as directed by you.
Can I make my payment at any Keesler Federal branch?
Yes, you can make a Keesler Federal mortgage payment directly at a Keesler Federal branch. Click here for branch locations.
What if I miss a Keesler Federal payment or have trouble paying during this transition?
If you’re unable to make a mortgage payment to Keesler Federal on time, please get in touch with Keesler Federal’s mortgage service center as soon as possible. We understand this transition could cause confusion or a temporary disruption.
Please call 833-385-5328 or 228-385-5599 to speak with someone at the mortgage servicing member contact center. We’ll be happy to work with you during this period to get your account current.
Will there be any changes to my mortgage payment amount or due date during this month?
No, your mortgage payment amount and due date will not change. You should continue to make payments according to your regular schedule. The transition only affects how payments are processed, and not the terms of your mortgage.
What should I do if I’m having trouble accessing my mortgage information?
If you cannot access your mortgage information via Keesler Federal’s online platform, please reach out to the Keesler Federal Mortgage Member Contact Center at 833-385-5328 or 228-385-5599, and they can assist you with any questions regarding your loan details or payment options.
Will there be any changes to my escrow account?
No, there will be no changes to your escrow account. Policy renewals and submissions will continue to be processed as normal.
Who do I call if I have questions about my escrow?
Until February 2, 2026, members will continue to contact Jefferson Financials' team members to discuss their escrow.
After the mortgage conversion, Jefferson Financial team members and Keesler Federal’s team members will become one team, and you will contact Keesler Federal’s Mortgage Member Contact Center at 833-385-5328 or 228-385-5399 to discuss all escrow-related questions.
What about my taxes and/or insurance?
If your monthly payment currently includes escrow for taxes and/or insurance, this will continue without interruption.
How and when can I make my mortgage payment at a branch?
Keesler Federal branches will start accepting payments from you on Monday, February 2, 2026. A list of our branch locations can be found by visiting this link: https://www.kfcu.org/branches-atms/
Conversely, Jefferson Financial Federal Credit Union branches will no longer accept mortgage payments on or after February 2, 2026.
How Do I Contact Keesler Federal?
Beginning February 2, 2026, the Keesler Federal Mortgage Member Contact Center will be able to assist you with any questions related to your loan at 833-385-5328 or 228-385-5599.
If you have any questions regarding this transfer prior to February 2, 2026, please contact Jefferson Financial Federal Credit Union and the call center can route your message to the Jefferson Financial mortgage team.

What about payments made to my prior servicer?
Under Federal law for transfer between servicers, a 60-day period following the date of the transfer (February 2, 2026), an on-time loan payment received by Jefferson Financial Federal Credit Union on time may not be treated as late by the new servicer (Keesler Federal).
How are partial mortgage payments treated?
When you make a partial mortgage payment, Keesler Federal may hold those funds in a separate account until you make the remainder of the payment. Then, the full payment will be applied to your loan.
Accessing my mortgage with Keesler Federal and related information.
Access your mortgage online:
- JFFCU members will need to sign in to online banking at Keesler Federal at www.kfcu.org by selecting the "Login" button, then select the "New User? Sign Up Now" link.
- This will prompt you to enter an account/member number, SSN and birthday. You can select a new username and password or use the same credentials from JFFCU. After doing so, you can proceed.
- NOTE: Your account/member number will not change unless you are notified otherwise. This may happen for a few members whose former account may have been their SSN.
- Once you are logged in, you can select the Mortgage account button to see your loan account. (You’ll notice that it looks very similar to the JFFCU platform).
Download the Mobile App:
Visit the App store on your mobile device and download the Keesler Federal Mobile Banking app. You can use the Keesler Federal Mobile app to view your mortgage, and the JFFCU app to view your other accounts until the account/data merger are finalized, targeted for early March 2026.
How do I set up electronic payments for my mortgage like I did with JFFCU?
You can sign up for the Automatic Payment Program with the form included in this mailer, or within Keesler Federal’s online self-service platform. For either, make sure you include the source for the payment: the bank routing number, and the source account from which you will pay your mortgage.
- Any third-party transfers from a financial institution that were set up to pay your mortgage with JFFCU need to be cancelled.
- Any JFFCU member that has an account with ProPay will have to cancel the scheduled mortgage transfer and close the ProPay account if this is your only scheduled payment.
- The customer service number for ProPay is 866-573-0951.
How will I get my mortgage statement and who will it come from?
JFFCU members will receive their January mortgage statement from JFFCU in early February. The February statement will come from Keesler Federal and will arrive in early March.
Can I access my mortgage details through the Keesler Federal mobile app or website?
Yes, after your mortgage is converted, you will be able to access your mortgage details through Keesler Federal’s online platform. You can use this to make payments, view your loan balance, and manage your account.
Can I still make automatic payments?
Yes, if you have automatic payments set up with Jefferson Financial, we will work with you to set this up within Keesler Federal’s system once your mortgage is fully converted. Please contact Keesler Federal’s mortgage service center team for assistance with this transition at 833-385-5328 or 228-385-5599.

- Submitting a recurring payment form used by the Keesler Federal mortgage servicing platform to pull the payment from the desired payment account. The ACH routing and account numbers are the source financial institution's routing number (which may or may not be Keesler Federal) and their source account number. The form is submitted to Keesler Federal’s mortgage service center.

Debit Card FAQs
When will I receive my new Keesler Federal debit card?
Will I still be able to get a debit card printed at the branch?
Yes, all Keesler Federal branches will have the ability to print debit cards that can be used right away. We will have over 55 branches available across Mississippi, Louisiana and Alabama to serve you.
Can cards be issued at Jefferson branches before the merger date?
Yes, all 14 Jefferson branches will have the ability to print debit cards that can be used right away – even before the merger date.
Will I need to set up a new PIN for my new debit card?
Yes, your new Keesler Federal debit card will have a new number, and it will require a new PIN to be set up during activation beginning March 2, 2026.
Can I still use my Jefferson debit card after the merger?
No, your Jefferson Financial debit card will be replaced with a Keesler Federal card that you receive by mail in mid-February. This card will need to be activated by calling the number on the activation sticker beginning March 2, 2026. On this date and beyond, your Jefferson card can no longer be used for transactions.
Can I still use my Jefferson debit card after the merger?
No, your Jefferson Financial debit card will be replaced with a Keesler Federal card that you receive by mail in mid-February. This card will need to be activated by calling the number on the activation sticker beginning March 2, 2026. On this date and beyond, your Jefferson card can no longer be used for transactions.
When will I receive my new Keesler Federal credit card?
Will I need to set up a new PIN for my new credit card?
Your new Keesler Federal credit card will have a new number and will require you to set up a new PIN during activation which begins February 22, 2026.
Can I still use my Jefferson credit card after the merger?
No, your Jefferson Financial credit card will be replaced and reissued with a Keesler Federal card that you should receive by mail in early February. Your new Keesler Federal card will need to be activated by calling the number on the activation sticker beginning February 22, 2026. On this date, your Jefferson Financial Federal card will no longer be valid for any transactions.
Can I still apply for a credit card at Jefferson Financial?
No. As of January 1, 2026, all credit card applications will be routed to Keesler Federal. You can apply online, by phone, or at any Keesler Federal branch.
Will my original Jefferson credit card terms and conditions be honored at Keesler Federal?
Yes, your original loan terms and conditions will be honored by Keesler Federal after the merger, and your will be in the Keesler Federal system.
How do I make a payment to my Jefferson credit card?
Your Jefferson Credit Card balance will be transferred to your new KFCU credit card. Payment to your new Keesler Federal credit card can be made in branch, online, or over the phone.
Will my Jefferson credit card debt protection continue?
No, Debt protection will be phased out after you get your new card. You will be able to enroll in other insurance products for your new Keesler Federal credit card account.
Will my credit card type change?
The Jefferson Visa Platinum cards will be reissued as Keesler Visa Signature or Visa Platinum cards. The Jefferson Visa Classic cards will be reissued as Keesler Visa Classic Cards. The Jefferson Visa Business cards will be reissued as Keesler Visa Business cards.
Will I be able to use a Keesler Federal ATM after the merger?
Yes, all Keesler Federal branded ATMs will be available for use.
What if I don't receive a new Keesler Federal debit/or credit card in the mail?
Please contact us at 888-533-7537 and we will be happy to assist you.
What about bills I have automatically charged to my debit/or credit card?
Please update any automatic payments with your new Keesler Federal card number once you activate the card.
Will my Jefferson card history transfer to my new Keesler Federal card number?
No, the transaction history from your old JFF card will be available on your last JFF statement.
Who will be able to assist me if I have questions/concerns regarding my debit/or credit card?

Account Numbers
Member Account Information
Most JFFCU account numbers will stay the same and automatically transfer to Keesler Federal—no action is required for most members. However, some JFFCU members will receive new Keesler Federal account numbers starting March 2, 2026, due to differences in account number formats.
If your account is affected, you will receive detailed instructions by mail and email before March 2, 2026, explaining how to update your account information, direct deposits, and electronic transfers.

For JFFCU Members with NO Changes to Account Number

Account Numbers Remaining the Same
Most JFFCU account numbers will remain the same and transfer to Keesler Federal with no action needed on your part. Any external transfers initiated from another financial institution to send money to your KFCU account will continue without interruption.
For JFFCU Members with a NEW Account Number

Due to the nature of how some account numbers were originally structured, SOME JFFCU members will be impacted with new KFCU account numbers as of March 2, 2026.
The new account number will help keep your personal information secure and up to date. These JFFCU members will be contacted in advance of March 2, 2026 via mail and email with detailed instructions of how to update your account, direct deposits, electronic transfers etc. KFCU will also assist in helping members navigate this process and allow 90 days to update accounts.
For JFFCU Members with Existing Direct Deposits
No Action is Needed
Existing Direct Deposits
Any direct deposits you already set up (e.g. your paycheck) will continue to process normally. No action is needed on your part.
However, we do encourage you to update your direct deposit information with your new KFCU account information, so your payors (employer) have the most up to date information for sending your deposits. The routing/ABA number for Keesler Federal is 265577585.
Consumer Loans
Auto, Boat, RV, ATV, BUS or Personal Loans
All current loans on file with JFFCU will be transferred to Keesler Federal when the account/data transfer is complete. You will have access to those accounts via your online banking access.
JFFCU members will need to sign in to online banking at Keesler Federal - www.kfcu.org by selecting the LOGIN button. You can use your same JFFCU username, BUT it will prompt you to select a password.
Once you are logged in, it will look VERY similar to the JFFCU platform you were familiar with.

Card Transitions
VISA Cards
JFFCU and KFCU will transition to a new VISA service provider effective February 23, 2026. Members for both organizations will be notified with new cards mailed to members.
Members will have a blackout period from accessing online account activity from February 23, 2026 through March 2, 2026.
- Members can contact the call Jefferson Financial Call Center at 1-800-259-2471 until March 2, 2026.
- Beginning March 2, 2026, members can contact the Keesler Federal Call Center at 1-888-533-7537.

Can I still contact the JFFCU call center after March 2, 2026?
No, we encourage you to begin using the Keesler Federal call center (1-888-533-7537) for all of your questions if our website doesn’t answer your questions. You can also visit a branch at your convenience and our friendly staff can assist.
Will my account number change with the merger?
It depends. Most JFFCU account numbers will remain as is and will transfer to Keesler, and no action is needed on your part.
SOME members will be impacted and those members will be contacted in advance of March 2, 2026.
What if I already have an account with Keesler Federal Credit Union?
All JFFCU member accounts will be transferred over to the Keesler Federal system and be live on March 2, 2026. If you already have a Keesler Federal account, this will be an additional Keesler Federal account.
Are there any services Keesler Federal currently offers that will not be extended to JFFCU members?
No. Starting March 2, 2026, JFFCU members are eligible to use all Keesler Federal services.
Will I receive a final JFFCU statement and dividend?
Yes, your final JFFCU statement will be for February 2026 and mailed to JFFCU members in Early March. You can expect the March dividends to be included in the balance transferred to your Keesler Federal account on March 2, 2026.
Will my payroll deduction automatically transfer over to my new Keesler Federal account on March 2, 2026?
Yes, everything that is associated with your current JFFCU account will be transferred to your new Keesler Federal account through May 31st, 2026. Please be sure to notify your payroll department of your Keesler Federal account prior to May 31st to continue all transfers and deposits.
How do I set up direct deposit or payroll deduction with my new Keesler Federal account?
Direct deposits currently on your JFFCU account will automatically transfer to your Keesler Federal account.
To make changes to this transfer or to establish a new payroll deduction or direct deposit, please contact your payroll department through the appropriate channels.
You will need to provide your new Keesler Federal account number (if applicable) and new routing information. The routing/ABA number for Keesler Federal is 265577585.
What will happen to my automatic transfers from other financial institutions?
Your automatic transfers from other financial institutions will continue, however, in order for Keesler Federal to redirect these transfers we need your authorization. We included an authorization form in this packet. Please complete it and return it in the postage paid envelope provided.
Will JFFCU fees and other costs change when the credit unions merge?
Some JFFCU rates and fees are different than those of Keesler Federal. Please see the enclosed Fee Schedule. Fees will not be assessed before March 2, 2026.
Will I still be able to use the JFFCU branch after the merger?
Yes, the JFFCU branches are open but will be branded as Keesler Federal.
You will also have access to 41 other Keesler Federal locations. There are five locations in the Gulf South area and more in MS and AL.

Will my loan payment be due on the same day of the month?
Yes, your loan payment will be due the same day of the month. If your loan is currently being made by way of payroll deduction, please see the enclosed Loan Payments Document for special instructions.
