The merger is scheduled for completion on March 2, 2026. At that time, your accounts will officially transfer to Keesler Federal.

Our team at Keesler Federal and Jefferson Financial FCU have worked for more than a year to ensure your transition to Keesler Federal goes smoothly. How will I be able to access Online / Mobile banking after my account converts to a Keesler Federal account?

As you attempt to login to the Jefferson Financial FCU online banking app, you will be auto directed to the Keesler Federal banking login and on mobile, to download the Keesler Federal online banking app. Your existing online banking credentials will work in Keesler Federal digital banking.

 

Below, you will find the look and feel of the Keesler Federal desktop version and mobile app to be very similar to what you were used to when using Jefferson Financial FCU's digital banking. Many of the most popular features are in the exact same place as before.

What features will come over automatically and what will I have to reset?

Your log-in credentials (Username / Password) will come over automatically. However, you will be required to change your password on your first use of the Keesler Federal app. Any recurring transfers (internal or external) and any links to external accounts from other financial institutions will also move to the Keesler Federal app. However, you will be required to reset any account alerts you want within the Keesler Federal app.

If I use Online Bill Pay, will my information automatically transfer to my Keesler Federal app?

Yes, all current payee information will convert to the Keesler Federal version of Bill Pay.

 

Below, you will see a comparison of the current Jefferson Financial FCU Bill Pay module compared to the new Keesler Federal version. This new version is packed with many convenient features that makes paying your bills hassle-free and more organized.

We understand how important it is to access your money without interruption, and we are committed to making this transition as smooth as possible for you and your accounts. Below are answers to some frequently asked questions.

Account FAQs

Will my account number change with the merger?

The vast majority of Jefferson Financial FCU account numbers will remain the same and will transfer directly to Keesler Federal. These members will not need to take any action.  However, some account numbers transferring from Jefferson Financial FCU either already exist at Keesler Federal or must be changed for security reasons. If for some reason your account number needs to change, you will receive a new account number by mail in mid-February.

 

Access your account online (if your account number doesn't change):

  • Jefferson Financial FCU members will need to sign in to online banking at Keesler Federal at www.kfcu.org by selecting the "Login" button, then select the "New User? Sign Up Now" link.
  • This will prompt you to enter an account/member number, SSN and birthday. You can select a new username and password or use the same credentials from Jefferson Financial. After doing so, you can proceed.
  • NOTE: Your account/member number will not change unless you are notified otherwise. This may happen for a few members whose former account may have been their SSN.

What if I already have an account with Keesler Federal?

All Jefferson Financial FCU accounts will transfer over to the Keesler Federal system following the merger, which is scheduled to be completed by March 2, 2026. If you already have an account with Keesler Federal, your account transferring from Jefferson Financial FCU will create an additional Keesler Federal account.

Will I receive a final Jefferson Financial FCU statement and dividend?

Yes, your final Jefferson Financial FCU statement will cover the month of February 2026 and shared with you through your preferred communication option in early March 2026. Your March dividends will be included in the balance transferred to your Keesler Federal account.

Will Jefferson Financial FCU fees and other costs change with the merger?

Some Jefferson Financial FCU rates and fees are different than the new rates from Keesler Federal. Please see the attached fee schedule. You’ll be pleased no fees were increased and many are lower!

Will I still be able to keep my Second Chance Checking account?

Your Jefferson Financial FCU Second Chance Checking will be converted to a Keesler Federal Simply Debit account for you to continue enjoying privileges. You can find full details on the merger website.

Will my payroll deduction automatically transfer over to my new Keesler Federal account on March 2, 2026?

  • If your account number does not change, transfers associated with your Jefferson Financial FCU account will continue to be transferred to your new Keesler Federal.
  • If you are notified your account number is changing, you must notify your payroll department of your Keesler Federal account before May 31, 2026, to ensure continuity of your transfers and direct deposits.

Direct Deposit FAQs

How do I set up direct deposit or payroll deduction with my Keesler Federal account?

To make changes to a current transfer or to establish a new payroll deduction or direct deposit, please contact your payroll department. You will need to provide your new Keesler Federal account number (if it has changed) and the routing number for Keesler Federal, which is 265577585.

What will happen to my automatic transfers from other financial institutions?

Your automatic transfers from other financial institutions will continue without interruption, even if you are notified that your account number will change. Once you are officially part of Keesler Federal in March, we ask that you update those institutions of your new account number. In the meantime, we will ensure all transfers continue to process as usual.

Overdraft Protection (ODP) FAQs

What are the new Overdraft Protection limits?

As of March 2, 2026, Overdraft Protection limits will be:

  • Jefferson Financial FCU Checking limits will be changed to $500.
  • Jefferson Financial FCU Kasasa Checking limits will change to $600.
  • Note: Overdraft protection will no longer be available for Jefferson Financial FCU Federal business accounts after March 2, 2026.

What will happen to my automatic transfers from other financial institutions?

Your automatic transfers from other financial institutions will continue without interruption, even if you are notified that your account number will change. Once you are officially part of Keesler Federal in March, we ask that you update those institutions of your new account number. In the meantime, we will ensure all transfers continue to process as usual.

Will I still be able to use my regular Jefferson Financial FCU branch after the merger?

Yes, the 14 Jefferson Financial FCU branches will transition to Keesler Federal branches, giving you access to more than 50 locations across LA, MS, and AL.

Can I contact the Jefferson Financial FCU call center after March 2, 2026?

No, you will need to direct all your questions to the Keesler Federal call center (1-888-533-7537) if our website doesn’t provide the information you seek. You may also visit any branch at your convenience, and our friendly staff will be happy to assist you.

When will I receive my new Keesler Federal debit card?

You should receive your new Keesler Federal debit card by mail in mid-February. This card will need to be activated by calling the number on the activation sticker beginning on March 2, 2026. On this date, the Jefferson Financial FCU card will no longer be valid for any transactions. Please continue using your existing Jefferson Financial FCU card until then.

Will I still be able to get a debit card printed at the branch?

Yes, all Keesler Federal branches will have the ability to print debit cards that can be used right away. We will have over 55 branches available across Mississippi, Louisiana and Alabama to serve you.

Can cards be issued at Jefferson Financial FCU branches before the merger date?

Yes, all 14 Jefferson Financial FCU branches will have the ability to print debit cards that can be used right away – even before the merger date.

Will I need to set up a new PIN for my new debit card?

Yes, your new Keesler Federal debit card will have a new number, and it will require a new PIN to be set up during activation beginning March 2, 2026.

Can I still use my Jefferson Financial FCU debit card after the merger?

No, your Jefferson Financial FCU debit card will be replaced with a Keesler Federal card that you receive by mail in mid-February. This card will need to be activated by calling the number on the activation sticker beginning March 2, 2026. On this date and beyond, your Jefferson Financial FCU card can no longer be used for transactions.

Credit Card FAQs

What will happen to my Jefferson Financial FCU secured credit card?

As part of the merger, Jefferson Financial FCU secured credit cards were transitioned to unsecured credit cards during the recent conversion. Any funds that were being held as collateral were released and deposited into your Jefferson Financial FCU account on February 23.

How do I report a lost or stolen credit card or activate one?

To report a lost or stolen debit or credit card during business hours:

When will I receive my new Keesler Federal credit card?

You should receive your new Keesler Federal credit card by mail in mid-February. You will need to activate your new card by calling the number on the activation sticker beginning February 22, 2026. On this date and beyond, the Jefferson Financial FCU credit card will no longer be valid for transactions.

Will I need to set up a new PIN for my new credit card?

Your new Keesler Federal credit card will have a new number and will require you to set up a new PIN during activation which begins February 22, 2026.

Can I still use my Jefferson Financial FCU credit card after the merger?

No, your Jefferson Financial FCU credit card will be replaced and reissued with a Keesler Federal card that you should receive by mail in early February. Your new Keesler Federal card will need to be activated by calling the number on the activation sticker beginning February 22, 2026. On this date, your Jefferson Financial FCU card will no longer be valid for any transactions.

Can I still apply for a credit card at Jefferson Financial FCU?

No. As of January 1, 2026, all credit card applications will be routed to Keesler Federal. You can apply online, by phone, or at any Keesler Federal branch.

Will my original Jefferson Financial FCU credit card terms and conditions be honored at Keesler Federal?

Yes, your original loan terms and conditions will be honored by Keesler Federal after the merger, and your will be in the Keesler Federal system.

How do I make a payment to my Jefferson Financial FCU credit card?

Your Jefferson Financial FCU credit card balance will be transferred to your new Keesler Federal credit card. Payment to your new Keesler Federal credit card can be made in branch, online, or over the phone.

Will my Jefferson Financial FCU credit card debt protection continue?

No, Debt protection will be phased out after you get your new card. You will be able to enroll in other insurance products for your new Keesler Federal credit card account.

Will my credit card type change?

  • The Jefferson Financial FCU Visa Platinum cards will be reissued as Keesler Federal Visa Signature or Visa Platinum cards.

  • The Jefferson Financial FCU Visa Classic cards will be reissued as Keesler Federal Visa Classic cards.

  • The Jefferson Financial FCU Visa Business cards will be reissued as Keesler Federal Visa Business cards.

General Card Services FAQs

Will I be able to use a Keesler Federal ATM after the merger?

Yes, all Keesler Federal branded ATMs will be available for use.

What if I don't receive a new Keesler Federal debit/or credit card in the mail?

Please contact us at 888-533-7537 and we will be happy to assist you.

What about bills I have automatically charged to my debit/or credit card?

Please update any automatic payments with your new Keesler Federal card number once you activate the card.

Will my Jefferson Financial FCU card history transfer to my new Keesler Federal card number?

No, the transaction history from your old Jefferson Financial FCU card will be available on your last Jefferson Financial FCU statement.

What will happen to my Jefferson Financial FCU loan?

All loans at Jefferson Financial FCU will be automatically transferred to Keesler Federal on March 1, 2026. Your existing loan will continue to have the same annual percentage rate and monthly payment until the loan is paid off.

Will my payment due date change?

No.

Will my loan ID number or account number change?

The vast majority of members coming over from Jefferson Financial FCU will not see any change to their account numbers and loan ID numbers. However, some may change due to security protocols. If your number is one that will change, you will be notified and provided with instructions.

How do I make a loan payment after the merger?

You’ll have several convenient options:

 

Self-Service: Use Online Banking, the Mobile App, or TONI (our telephone banking system) for quick and easy payments.

 

Other Options: You can mail your payment, visit any branch, or contact our Member Contact Center for assistance

I have an automatic transfer from my Jefferson Financial FCU savings or checking account to make a loan payment. Will that still work after the merger?

Yes.

I have an automatic transfer coming from an external bank or financial institution to make my loan payment. Will that still work after the merger?

Yes.

Will I have access to my payment history in online banking?

You’ll be able to view your past statements for the last two years, and those include your payment details.

What will happen to my Debt Protection coverage after the merger?

Your current coverage will remain the same. If any updates occur in the future, we’ll let you know in advance to ensure you understand your options.

What will happen to my GAP and MBP protection on my loan?

GAP (Guaranteed Auto Protection) and MBI (Mechanical Breakdown Insurance) coverage from Jefferson Financial FCU will be honored at Keesler Federal, and there will be no changes to your current policies.

How do I apply for a loan at JFF before the merger on March 1, 2026?

Even though the merger officially happens on March 1, 2026, beginning January 1, 2026, all loan applications will be processed through Keesler Federal. You can apply in the following ways:

 

Online: Through Keesler Federal’s website at www.kfcu.org

 

By Phone: Keesler Federal’s Member Contact Center; 1-888-533-7537

 

In Person: At any Keesler Federal branch or Jefferson Financial FCU branch

What happens if I already have a loan application in progress before January 1, 2026?

If you submitted your loan application before January 1, 2026, you’ll have 45 days to complete the process under the current system. After that period, any unfinished applications will need to be resubmitted through Keesler Federal.

Can I still apply for a Jefferson Financial FCU's Life Event/Fast Cash loan?

Yes, you can apply for these loans through Jefferson Financial FCU's website until January 31, 2026. After the merger, these products will return as ZipCash loans starting May, 2026.

 

We encourage you to explore alternative solutions such as Signature Loans or Overdraft Protection. You can review our products online, stop by any branch, or call us. We’ll be happy to assist you!

Consumer Lending - Titles and Liens FAQs

How do I obtain my Jefferson Financial FCU title once my loan is paid in full?

No change. Paper tiles will be mailed out and e-titles will be released electronically through the Department of Motor Vehicles.

Will my title show Jefferson Financial FCU or Keesler Federal as lien holder?

Existing Jefferson Financial FCU loans will remain with Jefferson Financial FCU as lien holder.

Consumer Lending - Insurance, Gap, and Warranty FAQs

How do I submit a debt protection claim?

Debt Protection is a TruStage product, similar to Keesler Federal’s Credit Life and Credit Disability coverage. You can submit a claim the same way you would for Credit Life or Credit Disability.

Will my Debt Protection change?

Debt Protection will remain active for now but is scheduled to phase out after March 2, 2026. Jefferson Financial FCU Members will be notified in advance and offered Keesler Federal’s Credit Life and Credit Disability products as alternatives.

Will my GAP and warranty contracts change?

Existing GAP and warranty contracts will remain the same. Please note that Jefferson Financial FCU contracts may differ from Keesler Federal’s terms. For example, Jefferson Financial FCU GAP does not include ADR coverage. If you have any questions about your specific contract, contact Loan Operations.

As a reminder, your mortgage loan is being changed from Jefferson Financial FCU Credit Union to Keesler Federal Credit Union effective February 1, 2026. Additionally, the transfer of the lien associated with your loan is currently reflected, or in the future may be reflected, in the public land records of the loan county recording office where your property is located.


Please be assured that the transfer of the servicing of your mortgage loan does not affect any term or condition of the mortgage agreement, other than the terms directly related to the servicing of your loan.

Mortgage FAQs

What changes should I expect with my mortgage, on my Jefferson Financial FCU mobile or online banking account?

On Monday, 1/26/2026, you will no longer be able to pay your mortgage or schedule payments to Jefferson Financial FCU. This is to ensure the transfer contains accurate balances.

 

Any payments received will be applied after the mortgage transfer and dated for the date they were received.

 

You will continue to see your mortgage information in Jefferson Financial FCU's online banking program (mobile and online) until Thursday, 1/29/2026, at which time the mortgage will transfer to Keesler Federal Mortgage Servicing. Once the transfer is complete, the mortgage will be on Keesler Federal’s systems (mobile and online banking, and on our mortgage self-service portal). This will be accessible on Monday, February 2, 2026. Other FAQs explain this in detail.

 

Mortgage accounts and escrow shares at Jefferson Financial FCU are closed as of Thursday, 1/29/2026.

Will Jefferson Financial FCU members have an account at Keesler Federal once the mortgage loans transfer on 2/2/2026?

Yes, a Keesler Federal account is created once the mortgage loans transfer.

 

The new account at Keesler Federal will only contain the mortgage loan record until the completion of the conversion, scheduled for 3/2/26, at which time, the remaining accounts and shares are fully converted to Keesler Federal systems.

How will my mortgage differ from how it currently is at Jefferson Financial FCU?

At Jefferson Financial FCU, all mortgage account information is located within your share account.

 

At Keesler Federal, the mortgage is serviced on the Mortgage Servicing platform, integrated within your account online. What does this mean? All your mortgage information will now be accessible through our online portal, at kfcu.org under “Mortgage”.

Will members receive a mortgage statement before the loans transfer to Keesler Federal?

Yes, the last mortgage statement members received from Jefferson Financial was in January 2026. This is part of your consolidated statement.

 

When you receive your February statement from Jefferson Financial FCU, it will only contain account information.

When should I expect to receive a mortgage statement from Keesler Federal?

Members can expect to receive their first mortgage statement from Keesler Federal, February 2026. This will be a standalone mortgage statement and will not include any other account activity, unlike previous mortgage statements.

 

After the mortgage loan has transferred to Keesler Federal, statements can also be accessed online by accessing the documents tab within the mortgage self-service portal.

When should I expect my annual Escrow analysis to be completed?

An annual escrow analysis will be conducted by Keesler Federal in March 2026. Members are to anticipate receiving the annual analysis statements from Keesler Federal.

 

After the mortgage loan has transferred to Keesler Federal, statements can also be accessed online by accessing the documents tab within the mortgage self-service portal.

What should members expect for Year-End/1098s?

Jefferson Financial FCU has completed the year-end for all members for 2025. Any corrections needed or copies of your 1098 should be directed to the Jefferson Financial FCU team members.

 

Keesler Federal will complete all future Year-End activities, beginning with Year-End 2026.

Why can’t I pay my mortgage at my old Jefferson Financial FCU branch?

Jefferson Financial FCU's branches are transitioning to Keesler Federal’s system, which is scheduled to be complete by March 2, 2026.

 

Before March 2, members will need to make their mortgage payment through Keesler Federal's alternative methods.

How can I make my mortgage payment during this transition period?

Online Payment: You can log into your Keesler Federal online account at www.kfcu.org, select mortgage, and make your payment directly through Keesler Federal’s self-service mortgage platform.

  • Jefferson Financial FCU members first will need to create a new online account at Keesler Federal for their mortgage payments only. Thus, during the transition period, the member may potentially have two online account - one with Jefferson Financial FCU and one with Keesler Federal.
  • Note: A member should use the same login credentials when creating their Keesler Federal online account as they have for their Jefferson Financial FCU online account.

Mail: You may continue to send your payments by mail to the Keesler Federal mortgage payment address.

Phone: You can call Keesler Federal’s mortgage servicing member contact center at 833-385-5328 or 228-385-5599 to make a Keesler Federal payment by phone.

 

ACH (automated payments): Use the self-service mortgage platform to make recurring payments. Or, fill out and provide the payment form to Keesler Federal Mortgage Servicing.

 

If using the payment form, put in the source of the payment: the bank routing number, and the source account from which you will pay your mortgage.

 

The servicing platform will withdraw the payment as directed by you.

Can I make my payment at any Keesler Federal branch?

Yes, you can make a Keesler Federal mortgage payment directly at a Keesler Federal branch. Click here for branch locations.

What if I miss a Keesler Federal payment or have trouble paying during this transition?

If you’re unable to make a mortgage payment to Keesler Federal on time, please get in touch with Keesler Federal’s mortgage service center as soon as possible. We understand this transition could cause confusion or a temporary disruption.

 

Please call 833-385-5328 or 228-385-5599 to speak with someone at the mortgage servicing member contact center. We’ll be happy to work with you during this period to get your account current.

Will there be any changes to my mortgage payment amount or due date during this month?

No, your mortgage payment amount and due date will not change. You should continue to make payments according to your regular schedule. The transition only affects how payments are processed, and not the terms of your mortgage.

What should I do if I’m having trouble accessing my mortgage information?

If you cannot access your mortgage information via Keesler Federal’s online platform, please reach out to the Keesler Federal Mortgage Member Contact Center at 833-385-5328 or 228-385-5599, and they can assist you with any questions regarding your loan details or payment options.

Will there be any changes to my escrow account?

No, there will be no changes to your escrow account. Policy renewals and submissions will continue to be processed as normal.

Who do I call if I have questions about my escrow?

Until February 2, 2026, members will continue to contact Jefferson Financial FCU's team members to discuss their escrow.

 

After the mortgage conversion, Jefferson Financial FCU team members and Keesler Federal’s team members will become one team, and you will contact Keesler Federal’s Mortgage Member Contact Center at 833-385-5328 or 228-385-5399 to discuss all escrow-related questions.

 

What about my taxes and/or insurance?

If your monthly payment currently includes escrow for taxes and/or insurance, this will continue without interruption.

How and when can I make my mortgage payment at a branch?

Keesler Federal branches will start accepting payments from you on Monday, February 2, 2026. A list of our branch locations can be found by visiting this link: https://www.kfcu.org/branches-atms/

 

Conversely, Jefferson Financial branches will no longer accept mortgage payments on or after February 2, 2026.

 

How Do I Contact Keesler Federal?

 

Beginning February 2, 2026, the Keesler Federal Mortgage Member Contact Center will be able to assist you with any questions related to your loan at 833-385-5328 or 228-385-5599.

What about payments made to my prior servicer?

Under Federal law for transfer between servicers, a 60-day period following the date of the transfer (February 2, 2026), an on-time loan payment received by Jefferson Financial FCU on time may not be treated as late by the new servicer (Keesler Federal).

How are partial mortgage payments treated?

When you make a partial mortgage payment, Keesler Federal may hold those funds in a separate account until you make the remainder of the payment. Then, the full payment will be applied to your loan.

Accessing my mortgage with Keesler Federal and related information.

Access your mortgage online:

  • Jefferson Financial FCU members will need to sign in to online banking at Keesler Federal at www.kfcu.org by selecting the "Login" button, then select the "New User? Sign Up Now" link.
  • This will prompt you to enter an account/member number, SSN and birthday. You can select a new username and password or use the same credentials from Jefferson Financial. After doing so, you can proceed.
  • NOTE: Your account/member number will not change unless you are notified otherwise. This may happen for a few members whose former account may have been their SSN.
  • Once you are logged in, you can select the Mortgage account button to see your loan account. (You’ll notice that it looks very similar to the Jefferson Financial FCU platform).

Download the Mobile App:

Visit the App store on your mobile device and download the Keesler Federal Mobile Banking app. You can use the Keesler Federal Mobile app to view your mortgage, and the Jefferson Financial FCU app to view your other accounts until the account/data merger are finalized, targeted for early March 2026.

How do I set up electronic payments for my mortgage like I did with Jefferson Financial FCU?

You can sign up for the Automatic Payment Program with the form included in this mailer, or within Keesler Federal’s online self-service platform. For either, make sure you include the source for the payment: the bank routing number, and the source account from which you will pay your mortgage.

  • Any third-party transfers from a financial institution that were set up to pay your mortgage with Jefferson Financial FCU need to be cancelled.
  • Any Jefferson Financial FCU member that has an account with ProPay will have to cancel the scheduled mortgage transfer and close the ProPay account if this is your only scheduled payment. 
  • The customer service number for ProPay is 866-573-0951.

How will I get my mortgage statement and who will it come from?

Jefferson Financial FCU members will receive their January mortgage statement from Jefferson Financial FCU in early February. The February statement will come from Keesler Federal and will arrive in early March.

Can I access my mortgage details through the Keesler Federal mobile app or website?

Yes, after your mortgage is converted, you will be able to access your mortgage details through Keesler Federal’s online platform. You can use this to make payments, view your loan balance, and manage your account.

Can I still make automatic payments?

Yes, if you have automatic payments set up with Jefferson Financial FCU, we will work with you to set this up within Keesler Federal’s system once your mortgage is fully converted. Please contact Keesler Federal’s mortgage service center team for assistance with this transition at 833-385-5328 or 228-385-5599.

  • Submitting a recurring payment form used by the Keesler Federal mortgage servicing platform to pull the payment from the desired payment account. The ACH routing and account numbers are the source financial institution's routing number (which may or may not be Keesler Federal) and their source account number. The form is submitted to Keesler Federal’s mortgage service center.

Member Account Information

Most JFFCU account numbers will stay the same and automatically transfer to Keesler Federal—no action is required for most members. However, some JFFCU members will receive new Keesler Federal account numbers starting March 2, 2026, due to differences in account number formats.


If your account is affected, you will receive detailed instructions by mail and email before March 2, 2026, explaining how to update your account information, direct deposits, and electronic transfers.

Most JFFCU account numbers will remain the same and transfer to Keesler Federal with no action needed on your part.  Any external transfers initiated from another financial institution to send money to your KFCU account will continue without interruption.  

For JFFCU Members with a NEW Account Number

Due to the nature of how some account numbers were originally structured, SOME JFFCU members will be impacted with new KFCU account numbers as of March 2, 2026.

The new account number will help keep your personal information secure and up to date. These JFFCU members will be contacted in advance of March 2, 2026 via mail and email with detailed instructions of how to update your account, direct deposits, electronic transfers etc. KFCU will also assist in helping members navigate this process and allow 90 days to update accounts.

For JFFCU Members with Existing Direct Deposits

No Action is Needed

Existing Direct Deposits

Any direct deposits you already set up (e.g. your paycheck) will continue to process normally. No action is needed on your part.


However, we do encourage you to update your direct deposit information with your new KFCU account information, so your payors (employer) have the most up to date information for sending your deposits. The routing/ABA number for Keesler Federal is 265577585.

Consumer Loans

Auto, Boat, RV, ATV, BUS or Personal Loans

All current loans on file with JFFCU will be transferred to Keesler Federal when the account/data transfer is complete. You will have access to those accounts via your online banking access.


JFFCU members will need to sign in to online banking at Keesler Federal - www.kfcu.org by selecting the LOGIN button. You can use your same JFFCU username, BUT it will prompt you to select a password.


Once you are logged in, it will look VERY similar to the JFFCU platform you were familiar with.
